Come to our monthly party meetings (in Studio 5 at The Exchange) scheduled next:

Do Something Green!

Do Something Green to improve your environment – we are residents of Richmond upon Thames who are passionate about bringing people together to appreciate the environment. Our events and activities are outdoors where possible, and aim to connect like-minded people to do something positive for the planet, or a small local area. Whether it’s a cycle ride, a litter pick or a walk in one of Richmond’s parks, enjoy nature and meet like-minded people.

Litter pick on towpath: Mortlake to Barnes… then drinks at the pub!

Date & Time: Check back here soon or follow our Eventbrite page

Location: Vine Road Recreation Ground, 20 Vine Road, SW13 0NE

Litter picks are some of the most popular events in our Do Something Green programme. Make a positive difference by clearing litter from the towpath in Mortlake. A chance to meet other people who care about the environment and to have fun. Litter pickers and bags provided, plus safety briefing. Meet-up location is on Vine Road Recreation Ground. We will work our way to the towpath then along it to Barnes. Stay for drinks afterwards at the Brown Dog pub. A sociable, fun and positive morning.

A circular, family-friendly, mostly off-road cycle ride!

Date & Time: Check back here soon or follow our Eventbrite page

Location: Teddington, TW11 0BB

Meet up at 10am at Teddington Station on the Station Road Side. Our route will take us through Teddington, across to Ham and then into Richmond Park via Ham Gate. After leaving Richmond Park we’ll cycle down to Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common, stopping for a well-earned coffee or tea break at the famous Windmill before returning to Richmond Park for our journey home. We have Paul Luton from Richmond Cycling Campaign as our trained cycle leader. Make sure to bring a road-worthy bike!

Visit the Do Something Green Eventbrite page for more details!

These events are not run by Richmond and Twickenham Green Party, but some of our members are hoping to attend:
