July 2024 General Election Parliamentary Candidates

Thank you to everyone who voted Green on 4th July!

Please refer to our Elections page for the latest information.

It’s the moment so many of us have been anxiously anticipating – a general election is now set to take place on 4th July. This time, we will be standing in both our local parliamentary constituencies: Richmond Park and Twickenham.

Local Councillor Chas Warlow is our candidate for the Richmond Park constituency. Chas is one of our five Green Councillors on Richmond Council. He currently works in the electric vehicle charging sector – he has led community energy projects in South London and helped create a Neighbourhood Plan in his home area of Ham.

Chantal Kerr-Sheppard has been selected as our parliamentary candidate for the constituency of Twickenham. Chantal is a radio presenter for Radio Jackie and the director of Event Cycle, a sustainable events consultancy.

Here are the crucial dates to remember as you prepare for the vote:

  • Register to vote by 18th June
  • Apply for a postal vote by 19th June
  • Apply for a proxy vote by 26th June
  • Apply for free voter ID by 26th June

Know someone who might not be registered or have voter ID? Or someone who needs to make alternative arrangements like setting up a postal or proxy vote? Make sure you remind them before the deadline to ensure they make their voice heard!

Help us build a sustainable future for all and hold the next government to account.

Vote Green on 4th July! 💚
